In 1992, Larson & McGowin, a 60+ year-old forestry consulting firm based in Mobile, Alabama, began offering a tech platform for their clients to manage property information. As they developed more products and the business grew, Silvics Solutions was born and is now an independently owned corporation based in Birmingham, Alabama, offering a suite of applications available for 10k+ acre landowners in the timber industry. The mission of Silvics Solutions is to be the industry leader for intuitive and comprehensive natural resources focused software suite, support, and analytics.
